Second Tomlinson Post-Mortem raises many gruesome questions

The first concern on this latest news is the rushed and woefully inaccurate initial post-mortem and how the first coroner was selected and instructed? One press report is here. As the whole method of policing and their training is now called into question, the fact that initial reports are to the effect that the policeman suspected of having delivered the shove to Mr Tomlinson has been questioned under caution on potential manslaughter charges brings small comfort. Once again it is the present and former Home Secretaries who must now take ultimate responsibility. 'Kettling' as first seen in Oxford Circus several years ago would always inevitably lead to just such a situation. The pictures of several police standing nonchalantly nearby as the man died best raises many other unanswered questions for me.
